Everything that changed in the dashboard and how to use it. The extension handles all of this automatically for reps, but you'll want to know where things live and how they work.
Dashboard tabs
The live list of every number the team has flagged, shared in real time across all reps' installations. Searchable by number or name. Shows who last encountered it and when.
Click "Who's seen this" on any number to see every rep who was shown a warning for it, with a timestamp and where the warning fired. Record page means the rep opened the contact or company directly. Dialer means the number was typed into the floating softphone and matched there. Useful for compliance checks and for understanding exactly how a number is being encountered in the field.
Clicking Remove on a number propagates to every rep's extension within 24 hours, without anyone needing to reinstall or do anything. The number stays in the system as a record but stops blocking calls.
Only remove a number if you're certain it's been flagged in error. If a number genuinely is DNC and just needs a correction (name or type), use the DNC Numbers tab to edit it rather than removing and re-adding.
Finds numbers stored under multiple formats, for example the same number with and without a leading 1, or with dashes vs. without. Click Merge to consolidate them into one clean entry so reps aren't dealing with inconsistent blocks.
When a rep sees something Watchdog got wrong, they click the Watchdog icon in their toolbar and file a report with a screenshot. Two types:
False positive — Watchdog flagged a contact that isn't DNC. False negative — Watchdog missed a contact that should be flagged.
Reports appear here with the screenshot, rep name, and timestamp. Soft-delete keeps them in Recently Deleted for 30 days before permanent removal.
Managing reps
Every rep who has the extension installed appears here automatically. You can see who's active right now (green dot = active in the last few hours), correct a rep's display name, and assign roles.
When someone leaves the team, use Deactivate on their row. This hides them from the main list and stops their activity from appearing in Trends, but keeps all their past warning history and report records intact. If you need to clean up the list entirely, Permanently delete removes their row after deactivation, though all historical logs are kept regardless.
Standard rep — gets warned and blocked on everything, both Universal DNC and Enterprise-only contacts.
Enterprise rep — warned and blocked on Universal DNC, but passes silently on Enterprise-only contacts. Assign this to anyone on the Enterprise team who should be able to call those contacts.
Roles update on the rep's extension within a few minutes of you changing them here. They don't need to do anything.
Kill switch
Pauses DNC protection for the entire team instantly. Use it if Watchdog is causing a problem mid-day and you need to stop the blocking while you investigate. Takes effect on every rep's extension within 10 minutes with no action required from them.
If Watchdog loses connection to Firebase for any reason, it defaults to protection ON. The kill switch can only turn it off; it can never accidentally turn off on its own.
Trends and audit
Shows total warnings shown across the team, dialer warnings separately, a week-by-week catch chart, and which reps are flagging the most DNC contacts. Updates live from data the extension sends automatically, no extra setup needed.
A permanent, append-only record of every admin action: numbers added or removed, role changes, rep deactivations, kill switch toggles. Cannot be edited or deleted, even by admins.
How syncing works
Reps' extensions download the full DNC list once on install, then check for changes once a day. Only new or changed numbers are downloaded after that. Any number you add or remove reaches every rep within 24 hours automatically, and reps can also hit Sync now in their Settings to pull changes immediately.
This was changed from a full re-download every 3 hours to daily incremental sync specifically to stay within Google Firebase's free hosting tier. At 6,000+ numbers and 70 reps, the old approach would have exceeded Firebase's free read quota every single day.
