Watchdog stops the call before it happens.

A DNC compliance layer that lives inside the CRM. It reads the record, checks the number against a shared team list, and blocks the call button until the rep acknowledges the warning.

Demo build. All names, companies and phone numbers below are fabricated (555-01xx is the range reserved for fiction). No customer or employee data appears anywhere in this demo.

The three surfaces

Record pageBlocks

Full-screen warning, and the call button is disabled until the rep acknowledges. Fires on the DNC property, the lead status, or a written note in the timeline.

Do not call popup

DialerWarns

Watches the number as it's typed into the pop-out softphone and matches it against the shared cache, naming the record it came from — so a duplicate contact can't slip through.

Toolbar popup

Current page status, sync health, and one-click Snapshot Reports so a rep can flag a false positive or a missed DNC with a screenshot attached.

How it's built

Detection

Line-paired property parsing rather than naive text matching, so the label "DNC?" doesn't self-trigger. Automated-segment log lines are stripped before scanning, and a bare dropdown option is distinguished from a written note — both were real false positives found in testing.

Shared cache

A number flagged once by any rep protects the whole team. Enforcement follows the number, not the record, so duplicate contacts carrying the same line are caught too.

Incremental sync

Full download once at install, then a daily delta fetching only changed records. Cut read volume by roughly 99% versus re-downloading the list each cycle, keeping the backend inside the free tier at team scale.

Fails safe

A failed sync keeps the existing cache and never advances its watermark. The kill switch defaults to protection ON, so a network problem can never silently disable enforcement.
